Black people, why is it every time someones favorite rapper gets locked up we want to scream out 'free them'. Lil Boosie, a Louisanna rapper, was recently sentenced to 2 years for a drug and weapon charge. Now people are screaming "Free Lil Boosie". When is this nonsense going to stop?
First it was "Free T.I.", then "Free Gucci Mane", and now it is "Free Lil Boosie". These rappers better be glad their prison sentences weren't longer. These are not first time offenders, but habitual offenders. I got to call a spade a spade. If you did the crime, you must do the time.
I "betta not" see a Free Lil Boosie t-shirt either. It is especially time for our black men to take responsibility for their actions. Especially being a celebrity, you can't be living the hood life carrying a literal gun shop and drug house in your car. Haven't you learned anything from "The Wire".
