Will you live a long life?

" Abraham lived 175 years.  Then Abraham breathed his last and died at a good old age, an old man and full of years; and he was gathered to his people".

Living to old age is surely a blessing from the Most High.  In this verse of scripture, we see that Abraham is very old when he transitions.  The Bible describe him as being an "old man" whose life was full of years.  He was called out from among his people to fulfill a Godly mission and he succeeded.  Abraham's heart stayed with God which paved the way for him to be the father of many nations.  Though Abraham died millenniums ago, his seed still lives on today.

Deuteronomy 11:21 tells us that if we obey our parents our days will be long upon the earth.  People may think that verse was unimportant and may overlook it.  However, there is wisdom which comes from parents.  God has granted parents the ability to see into their children's lives.  Especially parents who follow after God.  Even those parents  who do not fully follow God has some degree of wisdom and knowledge within them. This verse also includes obeying our elders and those leaders God has placed into your life.  This illustrates your reverence for God.  Proverbs 10:27 tells us that "the fear of the Lord adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are cut short".
