Accomplish your dream: Taking initiative

Initiative- 1. the ability to assess and initiate things independently
2. the power or opportunity to act or take charge before others do

So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin. James 4:17

Taking initiative is the first step in cultivating the ground for success in your life.  God can give us ideas, visions, and dreams all day and all night, however if we don't take the first step toward the Will of God, than He can not do much with us.  

God told Abraham to "Go from your country, your relatives, and your father's family, and go to the land that I will show you"  Genesis 12:1.  In order for Abraham to follow God's plan for his life, he had to take action and leave his home.  He could not sit at home and daydream about being in a brand new land.  He had to get up and go.  

So friends, that is what we must do in our own lives.  God may have called us to take a leap of Faith and step out and conquer new territory.  However, we must take initiative in order to see the plan of God activated in our lives.
