When it comes to the topic of financial breakthrough, I have seen preachers state how God is going to bring it about through mysterious means. They encourage us to sow a "miracle seed" that will bring about a sudden breakthrough, shout and spin around 3 times screaming at the top of our lungs, or spraying people with miracle water that will draw unexplained favor and success. However, are these methods Godly?
Matter of fact these methods are akin to witchcraft. Shouting and spinning around reminds me of people who perform incantations, and spraying miracle water is no different than hoodoo practices. Just because we try to put Jesus name on it to give it a stamp of approval does not make it right.
The Bible tells us that the key to financial breakthrough is diligence, hard work, consistency. The woman in Proverbs works through the eager hands. She sells merchandise; not chant and spray water on herself. The results often take time, sometimes years or even decades before you see the full result of your labor.
However, we live in a society that wants immediate results. We believe that if something is of God than we should see the results now. So that is where the spraying water and believing that a "miracle seed" will bring immediate results.
You do not plant crops in the ground and then receive an instantaneous harvest the next day. You have to practice consistency in order to see real financial change in your life. In closing just remember to stay the course, keep working and keep educating yourself on what it takes to be successful.
