Be steadfast in everything you do

"Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain". 
 1 Corinthians 15:58

Steadfast- resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering

I looked up the definition of steadfast and loved the wording.  It meas to be resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering.  Let's unpack the definition.  To be resolute means to be purposeful, determined and unwavering.  Synonyms of this is purposeful, resolved, adamant, decided.   Dutiful means conscientiously or obediently following one's duty.  Synonyms of dutiful are devoted, responsible, faithful, loyal. 

This means that you have made a conscious decision to carry a task out to completion.  You will not abandon ship when times get hard, you will not quit.  You will be faithful, trustworthy, adamant and determined.  So whatever task that God has placed before you, make sure you carry it out with steadfastness.
