Reap What You Sow Part 2: Double mindedness

Matt 7:2 "..and with what measure ye mete; it shall be measured to you again"

Another obstacle we face that causes us to not receive God's best for our lives is double mindedness. God speaks about this in James 1:7 "for let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord" Why? Because if you are always changing your mind about something, you will never move in the direction God will have you to move in. You will be unstable in all your ways (verse 8). Even if God desired to bless you, he probably couldn't because your mind is so far in left field you may not be aware of what direction God is leading you.

Sometimes I hear women who sometimes desires to be married, and then sometimes say "well maybe I'm not quite ready". Which one is it, are you ready for marriage or not? Or people would want their own business one day, and then a week later say, "well I don't know if I want my own business". And then they will get angry because they feel that God did not answer their prayer.

If you sow doubled minded seeds you will reap double minded results. Do not let your emotions keep you in a constant state of indecision. Get off of the emotional rollercoaster; the way you feel from day to day changes, but God 's Word remains the same. Stay tuned to Part 4

Yeah, one thing I learned is that to be a leader, say of a band for e.g., one must have confidence. Pursuit and leader-ship go hand in hand. One cannot have any confidence and pursue happiness in whatever they strive for at the same time...impossible.

Yes you must be confident and believe in yourself even if know one else agrees with you.

At the same time always be ready to accept some constructive criticism. I know my music composition would not have progressed this far with out it

That's true, constructive criticism can correct mistakes in the beginning before it grows into soemthing major.
