Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13
Between all of the sales, cookouts, pool parties and "unofficial first day of summer" hoopla we may forget the true purpose of memorial day, honoring the soldiers who gave their lives defending this country. The Word states that there is no greater love than a person who will lay down his life for his friends.
So on today, I just want to take the time out to remember all of our fallen soldiers who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Those who courageously laid down their lives in order to protect our freedom. hat is love demonstrated at the highest level. I salute you.
