Where are the Prophets, in the wake of this wave of violence?

   We have had a rough weekend as a nation.  We had the El Paso and Dayton shootings that shook our nation.  My prayers and condolences goes out to all of the victims of these two massacres.  

   In the midst of this wave of violence I wondered where are the Prophets?  At the beginning of every month I like to listen to certain Prophets give a word for that particular month.   None of the prophets I listened to gave a Word concerning violence in this nation and praying against it.  They were just prophesying the usual "this is your month for breakthrough" type of stuff.  This is causing me to reevaluate the "prophetic" voices I listen to.    

  Surprisingly the only "Word" I heard concerning the violence was a conspiracy theorist on Youtube.  At first I did not take his video seriously because I just thought he was just stating opinions, I never looked at it as potentially being God's Voice because he was not under the label of a "Prophet".  His video just "randomly" popped up as a recommendation and I clicked on it.   So my question is, how did the "conspiracy theorist" hear from God but not His Prophets (at least the ones I was tuned in to).
