Trusting in the Lord With All Your Heart

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
-Proverbs 3:5-6

Trusting in the Lord is very important.  In order to have a good relationship with someone, you must establish and maintain a level of trust.  If trust is not their, the relationship is in danger of failing.

Moreover, we must trust in the Lord.  Trust comes out of intimacy, being close to someone, getting to know them as a person.  Do you know God as your God?  Do you know Him as your personal Savior?  The first step of knowing and trusting God is reading the Bible.   As you begin to really read the Word, consistently everyday, your Spirit will become enlighten.  New direction for everyday living will start being revealed to you.

As you draw closer to God by reading His Word, and prayer your life will take a new direction  He promises to make the crooked places straight.  It may not happen overnight, but gradually, your life will become ordered.  As you see God moving in your life your Trust in Him will naturally strengthen.
