How to Release Negative Emotions

Last post I talked about not holding on to offense.  Along those lines I want to talk about releasing negative emotions.

It is very important that we release negative emotions on a daily basis.  Negative emotions not only plague our mind but can reek havoc on our whole entire body. However, we can learn how to process and release emotions in a healthy way.  This will benefit our health, relationships and spirituality.

Releasing Negative Emotions

The first thing to do is to acknowledge the negative emotion.  Often times we think that if we ignore it, that it will not bother us.  However, the emotion can remain deep in the subconscious mind directing our actions and behavior.

Journeling is a way I have personally learned to acknowledge the negative emotion.  When I journal I write down the experience, how it makes me feel, etc. It brings the situation into perspective and help me see things clearly.

I mainly use exercise in the form of dance to release negative emotions.  Exercise is a good way to de-stress and it increases the amount of endorphins that your brain releases.  Endorphins are those feel good hormones that helps you get rid of daily tensions.

Exercise is also a good mood stabilizer, it lowers the symptoms of mild forms of depression and calms anxiety.   It also helps regulates sleep which is very important for healing and repairing the body.

Thank you for another fantastic post. Where else may just anyone get that kind of info in such an ideal
manner of writing? I have a presentation next week,
and I'm at the search for such information.
