This weekend, I was talking to a friend, and we began discussing how it sometimes seems like the unrighteous are blessed with ease. In contrast, you’ll find faithful Believers—those who love and serve God—struggling to choose between putting gas in their car and buying food.
This is where our faith must rise up. Do we truly believe that God is working all things together for our good? Do we believe that God is on our side?
I had to take inventory of my own life and remind myself: God has my back. He is guiding the trajectory of my life under His watchful eye. Saints, our lives are not a random string of events. When we yield to Him, our steps are ordered by God.
No matter the storm, trust and believe that God is working everything out. As the Word says, “We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair” (2 Corinthians 4:8).
God is Sovereign. Almighty. All-Powerful. All-Encompassing. All-Knowing. He is the Absolute God. Merciful and compassionate, slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness. God is not a man that He should lie. He is the embodiment of Truth—and if He has promised you something, it WILL come to pass!
