God Redeems the Time

"I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you." Joel 2:25

God is Great and He is a restorer of time.  Being Almighty and Powerful, His Kindness extends to all generations. Certainly God can redeem the time, giving a person 20 years of progress in just 1 second. He can give someone an idea that will sustain their family for eternity.

In life we often experience what we call “set backs”. We may be going full speed ahead when suddenly a set back occur making us lose progress.  That set back can be sickness, finances, or family problems. However, God can redeem the time lost during a set back.  He can restore a person to their former condition, as if the difficulty never occurred. Not only does He restore a person to their former condition,, but can position them further than they would have naturally.

 A Time for Everything

The Word states that “there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the sun” Ecclesiastes 3:1. Just as a pregnancy has an appointed gestation period, God's promises also undergo a time of gestation. This period varies depending on God's Will for your life. The gestation period for a chicken is much shorter than that of an elephant.  A human's gestation period is longer than a leopard's. So we do not have to get hung up on the human construct called “time”.
God restores time, redeems time, and is in control of “time”.

In closing we know that the “Race not given to the swift or the strong but to he who endures to the end”. Ecclesiastes 9:11
