Enforcing the Word of God

"Faith without Works is Dead"  James 2:17

As I journey this walk with God I am learning that we must enforce His Word in our lives.  What do I mean by enforce?  Well one definition of enforce is to apply, administer, compel compliance with.

It is not enough to name and proclaim the Word, but to walk in the authority of it.  As we step out and exercise our Faith, at times circumstances will arise to challenge the Word we just spoke.

For example, let's say that you struggling with being a people pleaser and saying "no".  You are tired of having your time monopolized and being burdened with other people's responsibilities.  You can not just merely declare and proclaim that you are "No longer a people pleaser and can easily say 'no' " and just hope that people will stop bugging you.  You will have to enforce this Word by telling people no when they ask you to do things that you don't want to do.  You will have to enforce that "no".

In conclusion, let us truly walk in God's Word by enforcing it in our everyday lives.  We will accomplish so much more in His Kingdom when we do this.  Be blessed.
